Make your own Dry Shampoo
With fall here the days will become much cooler. Washing your hair and stepping out in a windy city might just catch you a cold. So avoid, washing your hair every day. While there are many dry shampoos out in the market that are great if you are seeking a much more organic way to keep your tresses free of wash for another day, then D.I.Y dry shampoo is right for you. Not only will it prevent you from getting sick, it’s healthier for your hair.
One of the awesome things about making our own dry shampoo is not only do you know what you are applying to your scalp, but also you can work with different ingredients to personalize your hair color. From raven, brunette, red head and blonde here are some things you will need to create the perfect dry shampoo.
Raven and Brunette Blondes Redheads
¼ Cornstarch ¼ of Arrowroot ¼ Cinnamon
1 Cup warm water 1 Cup Warm Water 1 Cup Warm water
¼ Cocoa 4 Drops of essential oil ¼ Cornstarch
4 Drops of essential oil 4 Drops of essential oil
What to do: Mix all ingredients in a small spray bottle and shake well. Shake before each use and spray on roots or oily parts of hair. Let dry and style as usual.
Before & After
Dry shampoo should be applied on the roots only. After applying massage your scalp with your fingers to spread evenly. Dry shampoo should be used in between washes.
